Mission-Minded Kids

When many kids hear the word “mission,” they think of adults who work at soup kitchens or travel to the inner city to tell others about God. What kids need to realize is that we don’t have to travel out of our town to share Jesus with others—or even out of our neighborhood. A mission is a lifestyle, not a one-time event. In fact, when we give our lives to Jesus, He wants to use us wherever we are to {Read More}

Mission Trip Goal List

I’m off to the Czech Republic! This is my third mission trip there, and I’m over-the-moon excited. How amazing that God would send me to the most beautiful country in the world (in my humble opinion) to share the good news of Jesus! While we’re there we’ll be speaking connecting with a Czech church, speaking to a woman’s group, doing a kids’ outreach, and (our main focus) teaching English at a teen camp for five days. I’ve been thinking about {Read More}

Finding Peace in Imperfection | Guest Post by Jennifer Dyer

I had the privilege of interviewing Jennifer Dyer on Living Inspired this past week (you can download her interview here). She was kind enough to share a little more of her story with us. Enjoy this beautiful piece from Jennifer Dyer.  Once upon a time there was a lady who thought happiness depending on everything being just right. And it wasn’t… Does this sound familiar? Do you ever struggle with happiness? Does “happy” depend on circumstances? On your own ability {Read More}

Seeking the God who Proves to be Good

Read the following excerpt from the book I co-wrote with Robin Jones Gunn (pictured below goofing off with me) called Praying for Your Future Husband: Preparing Your Heart for His, and see if you know anyone like this:“All it took was that one kiss after the archery lesson, and I readily agreed to be Steven’s girlfriend. We spent a lot of time together. We hiked in the hills behind our houses. We swung on the swings at the park. At {Read More}

Here’s my writing space! My desk holds an endless supply of papers waiting to be filed or recycled, my computer, a transcriber for phone interviews, and my phone.  On the wall near my monitor is a pic of my kids when they were young. On the wall near the bookshelf is a pic of my husband and me. ~~~ Grace Fox is an author and speaker best described in three words: Daring. Deep. Devoted. Her passion is to help women develop the {Read More}
