My Writing Desk | Robin Lee Hatcher

This is my writing desk that is part of my office credenza. (Behind me is a desk where I can read or pay bills, etc.) In this picture you can see:
* My “bucket list” (7 things to do before I die) taped to the bookcase doors
* My Apple 27″ LED display
* The corner of my MacBook Pro (which is plugged into the display)
* Sticky notes to myself about my books, Bible verses, writing advice
* The corner of my Dymo printer (labels and stamps)
* My timelines (original & new one in progress) for book I’m revising (beneath them are other papers related to this revision)
* My rolling outline journal with notes regarding current revisions
* My Logitech Trackman Wheel sitting on my Brandilyn Collins’ “Big Honkin’ Chickens Club” mouse pad
* My Apple keyboard
* Cords for keyboard, track wheel, and my iPhone
* Checks to be deposited for the HOA (I’m the treasurer)

Hi Robin — Love your desk and working area. Now when you say you are writing, I can in my mind see you sitting at your desk and your area.
Have you gotten anything crossed off of your “bucket list”?
Thanks for sharing Robin through Tricia.

Trackman! I love my track man. Really.

  7. Thanks, everyone, for the comments.

Anonymous, the Trackman is the best!!!! No shoulder pain from using a mouse. No extra room needed to move hand or arm around. I’ve tried other mice and trackpads. Always come back to the Trackman.

For those who asked about the Bucket List (written in January 2006), it had seven items on it to start with. I’m happy to say that two of them have been checked off as completed (Lower cholesterol and move to a smaller home without lots of yard work). Sad to say I haven’t accomplished even part of my travel goal which is to see the countries of origin of my great-grandparents (England, Ireland, and Sweden). Gotta get moving on that.

I’m working on three of the others. I suspect the seventh one may just get replaced with something else. It doesn’t seem as important to me at the moment.

    Robin
